the film is currently undergoing it’s 4th cut.  We’re mostly delighted and over-exited by the original soundtrack GESTE is sending us day by day!  Soon we’ll be sending everything to sound mixing / color correcting and officially enter post-production, hopefully with contribution of some French taxpayers money! hasta pronto, dear passengers.

While still spending sleepless nights editing (we have to meet an approaching deadline for a post-production grant), we’re glad to see Geste’s “Eating Concrete” music video released; it’s 100% VIKING LINE footage.

Geste is composing the soundtrack for the film, with some heavy tunes that are already leaving us seasick. Definitely check out his music:

Cruising on a sea of ice is a weird feeling. At some point, it’s almost like you could go as down as deck 1, open a small hatch to get the fuck out of here. To where ? Latvia, Finland, Estonia, Sweden, wherever your footsteps would take you. At least far enough to stop hearing the music played in the ship’s disco where we spend hours shooting. Alors on ne danse plus.

Three nights on the Baltic Sea, everything is possible.

Among others, “can-can”, “I lost my wingman”, “golden shower” and “what the fuck is Eesti?”. Also, the most powerful earworm since Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”: “Come live your life the Scandinavian wayyyyyy”. Somehow this makes sense.

Tonight is the Eurovision semi-finals. We are in Tallin.
